World Sparrow Day 2021

Continuation to the Conservation efforts initiated on the occasion of World Sparrow Day 2017, WGNF along with other prominent organisations of Kodagu, celebrated World Sparrow Day 2021 in Kodagu.

As part of the efforts, additional sparrow nests were installed throughout the year. Sparrow nests were also distributed to the students of GMP School, Siddhapura.

​

A wildlife photo exhibition was also organised as part of the event. Photos taken by Shashi Mishra of WGNF and other photographers were on the display.

​

As a testimony to the efforts, sparrows have nested in the sparrow nests installed previously around the College of Forestry Campus.
